GameweekIQ Terms of Service
Effective date: 16 August 2026
Last updated: 16 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GameweekIQ at gameweekiq.com, including LeagueIQ, TeamIQ, ManagerIQ, and related features (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
GameweekIQ is operated by GameweekIQ ("GameweekIQ", "we", "us", or "our"). You can contact us at support@gameweekiq.com.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. If the law where you live requires you to be older, or requires a parent or guardian's consent, that requirement applies. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it to these Terms.
2. The Service
GameweekIQ analyses public Fantasy Premier League ("FPL") information to help users understand mini-league standings and the effects of transfers, chips, captain selections, bench choices, and other decisions.
The Service is currently offered as a beta. Features may be incomplete, change, become unavailable, or contain errors. Any Premium features described as "coming soon" are product plans only and are not part of the current Service or a commitment to deliver them.
GameweekIQ is an independent product. It is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with the Premier League, Fantasy Premier League, Google, or their respective owners. Names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
3. Accounts and sign-in
You may need an account to use parts of the Service. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your sign-in methods secure, and promptly tell us at support@gameweekiq.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may sign in using Google or another supported method. Your use of Google services remains subject to Google's applicable terms and policies. Our handling of personal information is described in the GameweekIQ Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care.
4. League and team identifiers
You may provide public FPL league or entry identifiers to retrieve analytics. You must use the Service lawfully and must not use identifiers to harass, stalk, profile, or harm another person.
Claiming a team in GameweekIQ is a selection and confirmation of public FPL metadata; it is not verification that you own or control the underlying FPL account. You must not misrepresent your connection to a team or manager.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- break the law or infringe another person's rights;
- access or attempt to access another user's private account or data;
- bypass authentication, rate limits, capacity limits, or security controls;
- probe, scan, disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use automated means that place an unreasonable load on the Service or upstream FPL services;
- introduce malware or harmful code;
- use the Service to harass, discriminate against, or harm others;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission; or
- present GameweekIQ data or analysis as official Premier League or FPL content.
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, third parties, or comply with law.
6. Data, analytics, and accuracy
FPL is the source of the football, player, entry, and league information used by the Service. Data may be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, cached, provisional, corrected later, or affected by upstream changes. Live points, bonus points, substitutions, ranks, and other values may change before FPL finalises a gameweek.
GameweekIQ metrics are analytical estimates and simplified counterfactuals. ManagerIQ is a deterministic score based on the components shown in the product; it does not fully measure managerial skill or luck. Transfer Impact, Chip Impact, Captain Impact, and the Gameweek 1 comparison do not model every alternative decision or future outcome.
You should verify important information against official FPL sources. The Service does not provide financial, betting, legal, or professional advice, and you should not rely on it for gambling or financial decisions.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, text, and original analytics presentation, is owned by or licensed to GameweekIQ and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
Public FPL data and third-party names, logos, statistics, and other materials remain subject to the rights and terms of their respective owners. These Terms do not grant you ownership of them.
If you send us suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment, but you keep ownership of any rights you already hold in them.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information. By using the Service, you acknowledge that policy.
9. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties, including FPL, Google, Supabase, and Vercel. We do not control their services and are not responsible for outages, changes, data errors, or acts outside our reasonable control. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by separate terms.
10. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice of a material change that significantly affects existing users.
We may update these Terms. The revised Terms will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice before it takes effect where required. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Ending your use
You may stop using the Service at any time. You can remove saved leagues or delete your account within the Service. If you cannot access your account, contact support@gameweekiq.com for help.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially or repeatedly breach these Terms, create risk or possible legal exposure, or if required to protect the Service or others. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms, will continue to apply.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not promise that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or accurate, or that it will meet every requirement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
13. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GameweekIQ will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, or data arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
For users acting in the course of business, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) GBP 100.
For consumers, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for business losses or losses that were not foreseeable. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory protections given by the law of the country where you live and may bring proceedings in any court available to you under applicable consumer law. Otherwise, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or the Service.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact support@gameweekiq.com so we can try to resolve the issue.
15. General terms
If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing these Terms is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our permission. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, reorganisation, sale, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the agreement between you and GameweekIQ concerning the Service and replace earlier agreements on the same subject.
